(Many days at that). Keeping in mind one of the greatest downfalls ever recorded. Someone recently wrote on the web .. Windows 10 are essentially the same as those of Windows 7. It’s common for Windows 7 systems to run Windows 10 without a problem. Bull flocking shit they are. The Muppet who came out with that glib statement above was sat behind a closed in, and closed off to comments HP web site; promoting of all things: new hardware and software upgrades. So my balanced take on that statement; is that the jumped […]

.. Long live the King, and I’ve finally given up. (All) of my Win 10 machines are now running version 1803, and they’ve all stopped working, or at least their networking side has. Here’s a link to what’s happening, and yes: I’ve gone through it all, and yes I can now at least (see) my own machine, but that’s it! Really struggled with Windows 10 version 1709 last Autumn; right through to early Spring, and now it’s all gone tits up, (yet again!) And what that all means; is that I’m really, really […]

A formal discussion:- (Now) I use Chrome, and the reason is quite simplz; – I like being able to log into my Google account on (any) machine, and then instantly have all of my saved links and passwords wherever I am. It’s a major bonus, and it is the *only* reason that I use the Google Chrome browser, but I’ve discovered that it’s being built on top of another browser called Chromium, and that web software has a built-in ad blocker (it still supports XP), plus you can log into […]

Or More like Micky-Soft-Broke-My-Will-2-Live. { BUT! } – I have finally worked out how to get my networked computers to talk to each other: (again), and dis’ damned patsy bloody well hates the Micky-Soft Monkeys for making me go through all that, (cos it was much, much blooming easier doing it under Windows 7 and XP.) Here’s the How-to link for Networking over a WiFi network using assigned IP Addresses. What miffs me off about it the most: is that the (Breaks and Locks) being put on your own Network […]

A discussion on rooting through the ground finding genetically modified grubs. I love the Palemoon Browser with its menu bar and big huge backward and forward buttons: it’s what a browser should look like. Ended up using that because I was forced to ditch Firefox, and that was mainly due to the constant updates that I found annoying, intrusive and largely unnecessary. Since the enforced move: I’ve found Palemoon to be a highly stable and exemplary browser. Then I installed TextAloud 4 Beta, and it automatically installs addon modules on […]
